North Atlantic Aviation Museum
Gander,
CANADA
The Town of Gander has an immensely rich and unique history – one the has been guided and impacted greatly by aviation. During WWII, the Town was a strategic air base; in the 1950s, it was known as the Crossroads of the World; and after the events of 9/11, it became known as the Town that Welcomed the World, made popular in the award-winning Broadway musical Come From Away.

With Jane Severs Interpretive Planning, MPP co-developed and produced all research, content, and interpretive planning for the North Atlantic Aviation Museum in Gander, Newfoundland. Tasks included storyline development, identification of key media, themes and sub-themes, artifact and AV selection, and drafting all exhibit text, labels, and image captions.
