Space Center Houston
Houston,
USA
In light of the end of Shuttle flights and the beginning of new phases in NASA’s human spaceflight program, a comprehensive Master Plan was initiated for the future development of Space Center Houston, the official visitors’ center at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. The Master Plan included an operational study, changes to the physical site and infrastructure, and a dynamic design concept for a renewed attraction. Collaborating with Jack Rouse Associates, internationally respected theme park and world’s fair designers, a consultant with MPP provided content development and interpretive planning services for the Center’s design concept.
